Andrew Wommack preaches about Christian Philosophy: The word philosophy according to him is “the way you think, a paradigm, a world view and everything that happens is filtered through this philosophy”. Andrew talks about how there needs to be a Christian philosophy that God, the Bible, and Jesus should be Absolute and first in everything in our lives. If Adam and Eve had understood the true nature of God they would have never believed Satan who told them God is here to hold them back. This is inconsistent with God and His true nature that we know to be true. God is really not a harsh, mean God. There are some things in the Bible that makes God look mean and bad. For instance, He killed people, struck people with leprosy, and killed 186,000 Syrians in one night who were against the land of Israel. There is a wrath and harshness. Elijah calls fire out of heaven and kills 102 men. But in Luke, Jesus' disciples try to emulate this and Jesus rebukes this and tells them not to do what Elijah did. This is very important. Wommack explains that we have to understand that God dealt with people differently back in the Old Testament than when Jesus came. Wommack hypothesizes that God’s nature is the same but the way he “deals” with us is different. He gives the example that you don’t treat your neighbors kids the same you treat your kids. The neighbor's kids are not in your covenant. He says those who haven’t been born again are treated differently. When Jesus came and redeemed us we now are the children of God. This is because Jesus had not died for us yet. God hasn’t changed, we have changed, we are his children like we never have been before.
